Basic Information on donating items or time.
While we would greatly appreciate any financial donation to support our operations, training, and improvements to grow our organization, we have many other ways to contribute to our mission!
Bring Your Items
Your donations are essential in allowing us to be a valuable regional resource for quality merchandise and keeping re-usable materials out of our local waste stream. So think of us before you toss.
All donations may be tax-deductible and subject to staff approval.
Our quality standards: We're looking for clean items that are resell ready for our showroom floors. Due to our fast-paced operations, we unfortunately cannot repair and restore your item(s). Missing pieces, rips, stains, rust, mold, and other imperfections may affect our ability to accept your donation.
What are we looking for? Here are some examples. Feel free to give us a call with questions if you don't see it on the list.
Home Goods Store:
Books, baby items, cookware, dinnerware, electronics, exercise equipment, home and holiday decor, records, small kitchen appliances and more!
Home Improvement Store:
Concrete, masonry, metals, woods, plastics and composites, damp proofing materials, insulation, roofing and siding, sealants, doors and windows, interior finishings, acoustical ceilings, flooring, paint, appliances, interior furnishings, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and electrical.
Give Your Time
Our stores rely heavily on volunteers like YOU to keep everything running well and looking nice. And, of course, keeping our customers smiling.
Opportunities for involvement might include data entry, customer service, donation pickups, cleaning, organizing and stocking inventory. With the rapid turnover of goods, you will find the work challenging but the atmosphere is pleasant and the people enjoyable.
Any number of hours per week is acceptable. Retirees and students welcome. Maybe you have experience in building, home repair or remodeling. Perhaps you’d like to know you’re making a difference environmentally or you really enjoy working with the public. Our orientation and training will help you fit right in.
